Olivia the Dancing Queen!

Olivia has, by default (they needed an extra girl), joined a Dance class! And she absolutely loves it! She was so excited when they got their costumes, and it was a Twirly Skirt! She has learned the Cha-cha and the Waltz allready, and she has several more performances this spring, and not only that but she will go to a competition in febuary that is judged...:) She does have a little bit of a girl in her, and she is getting so grown up, it's kind of freaky!

Waiting to perform!! The energy was electric in the Balcony at the Civic Auditorium, there were so many kids waiting to perform! Olivia's group did really well for a first year group! I don't even think they were nervous! They are so awesome!
This picture was my atempt at a family picture for christmas....But I couldn't figure out my self timer, and everyone was freezing...so as Greg was losing patience, he took the picture and called it a family picture!!! He doesn't like pictures that much anyway! So Merry Christmas from the Nelson Family!

This is for Kourtney who is the worlds best blogger, and I am not! But I thought after recieving her cute christmas card that I really should update my blog! Sorry I am such a slacker! I do have a couple of lame excuses. One, my camera was scrunched by Rachel, and It wouldn't send pics to my computer, although I could still take them... so I was using that, but not putting any photos on my computer. (I got a new camera for my birthday!) Second, My crazy sister and I started a little boutique store....Lot of work. Third, I have four kids and a husband! (Husbands count for at least two kids!:)

But all in all things are going well. my family is way excited about Christmas! WE are so excited that we are getting a lot of snow! Greg is still busy with his business, and he feels that being a boss is a lot like babysitting, but I am sure it is better, he doesn't have to change diapers!:)Well, I will see if I can still attach photos.....Kourtney I am open for some blogging tips!

WE are still alive!

Hi. It has been a long time since I have even thought about this blog. My sister is gone, and so this will be a shot in the dark to see if I can manage by myself. I will try and with practice it may get better. We are finally starting to feel a little more settled. I think it could take a year or so before it feels like home, but we are working on it! I will just add a few pics and call it good! o-by the way courtney, i finally read Twilight, and New Moon AND Eclipse...very good, my poor family had to fend for themselves while i read them!

We are Still Alive

Hi Friends and Family. It has been a while since I have even thought about the blog. My Sister isn't here to even help me anymore, so this is a shot in the dark to see if I can manage....Iwill practice and hopefully get better! Just so Courtney knows, I finally read Twilight, and New Moon and Eclipse..... I couldn't put them down! My poor family had to fend for themselves, I am worthless when I read a book!
Every thing else is going good. We are feeling more and more settled everyday, and looking forward to summer.

Crazy Week!

Just thought I would show some photos from our crazy week and a half.... It all started with shots last monday (17th). Not a fun thing to do, take four kids to the clinic to get shots. Brigham was very brave. Rachel was not..... And Brooklyn had no choice in the matter. It hurt me as much as the kids I believe.... Then to top it off, Rachel is sick the rest of the week. And we were getting ready for Lindsey's Farewell. And Easter. And trying to help Lindsey get the rest of her stuff done.....It must run in the family to put everything off till the last minute. Linds got off this morning and is and official "Hermana" ! She's going to be a great missionary, but she can come back anytime and "Nanny" for me!

Coloring Easter Eggs. Rachel stole everyones eggs. Brigham made an absolute mess, but it was fun and we had to do it for tradition.

Lindsey, our future missionary!

Lindsey and I have really been confusing the kids! They call Lindsey mom, and me Lindsey.... so we took a picture...could it be the same hairdoo? We are really going to miss lindsey when she leaves....If we could we would like her to stay, she has been a really big help with the kids as I have been occupied with Brooklyn! And she has also helped with the move and settling in to our new house. WE are excited for her though and know that she will make a great missionary and the people of argentina will love her!

Brooklyn will be a lot bigger when lindsey gets home, but we will keep her informed, especially since Linds was nice enough to get me set up with an email acccount....she's even the reason I have a blog.....still not to confident on the computer, but with lindseys ecouragement maybe I will get better..... Lindsey thinks I am as old as a dinosaur because I was in college before email was big!!

Linds took this pic of the rexburg temple, and I thought I would put it on here.... It is pretty cool that we now have two temples and they are so close by... We haven't been through the rexburg one since the dedication, but we loved the open house..... although Brigham says that going to the temple is tireing because of all the stairs:) It is a beautiful temple, and it really does have a lot of stairs.
See why we're going to miss linds... my kids use her as a human jungle gym... which is really nice for me she keeps them entertained and she even takes them on walks, outside in the 30^ wheather.... We know she will make a good missionary because she allready knows how to serve!
